Awesome!!!, December 4, 2008
By Josh8605 from Chico, CA

Pros: Design, Easy to hookup, Easy to Use, Picture Quality, Sound Quality, Value for Money

"I bought this at the Saturday Door Buster Sale, the day after B Friday for $299.99. The store only had 3 so I was lucky to take one up. I am not a subscriber to HDTV, but the screen quality overall is better. I am so spoiled now, the image is crystal clear compared to other TVs. I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone and hope it will last."

Great TV for the price, November 18, 2008
By Kassle from Camp Hill, PA

Pros: Easy to hookup, Easy to Use, Picture Quality, Value for Money

"I had decided to get a 32" on Black Friday for my bedroom. Then I saw this one. Typically, most of the 26" sets I've seen have been the same price as 32" sets. When I saw this for $299.00 I decided to check it out. I left the house at 8:15, and by 9:30, I had moved the 19" back to my office and hooked it up and had this one hooked up in my bedroom.

I tweaked the picture settings a bit and haven't really looked yet to see if it picked up any HD channels with the scan. So far the only minor complaint I have is that once you turn it on, it takes longer than my other HD TVs to actually turn on."

$299 HDTV, November 17, 2008
By YoungEngland from Erie PA

Pros: Design, Easy to hookup, Easy to Use, Picture Quality, Value for Money
Cons: Sound Quality

"I was spying this HDTV for a while and put this on layaway before it went on sale yesterday on Sunday. Luckily i did because when i went to pick it up they just sold the last one!

The frame of this HDTV is plastic and does not look at good compared to most other brands but the picture quality in my opinion is just as good as the Sony and Samsung which was on display next to it.
Sound is poor and rattles even at low volume at certain times. I am planning to solve this by purchasing some cheap speakers.

Easy setup and just with a plain cable hookup with no service i was able to Pick Up several HD channels very clearly using the TV's Channel Scan.
All in all i am very pleased with this TV and glad i did not go for the Vizio or Sanyo 26 Inch.
I will also post another review several weeks from now"

Great TV for the price, November 17, 2008
By dtlb26 from Midwest

Pros: Easy to hookup, Easy to Use, Picture Quality, Value for Money
Cons: Remote, Sound Quality

"We bought for the upstairs living room where it will see medium use.

I disagree with the previous poster about extended warantees. 2 year extended warantee is only $29.99. How can you go wrong? Some larger electronics store would charge $50+ per year, so this was a significant factor on getting this TV.

As for performance, it has a digital tuner. I let it update the scan on cable (did not have a cable box connected), it recognized all channels plus free HD channels offered by local company (COX). Awesome feature. My old Olevia could not do this.

Clarity on 720+ is great. I have absolutely no complaints. Clarity on some cable channels is lacking, but if it was a heavier use area, I would get another cable box.

Only negative I see is the sound is not as great as other LCDs and the remote is somewhat lacking (could be a positive for some).

For $299 + $29.99 for 2 years extended warantee + tax = a pretty swee deal."

element elchs261 - ON SALE for $299, November 16, 2008
By HONDO from Richmond, VA

Pros: Design, Easy to hookup, Easy to Use, Picture Quality, Sound Quality, Value for Money

"16NOV2008 - Sunday

this tv is on sale (limited quantities) at kmart 16NOV thru 22NOV for $299. I just purchased 2 this morning and we are watching one now. I wouldn't choose this size and resolution (720p) for my main tv but we purchased them for the kids bedroom. additionally, I would have chosen a different brand if the price were still at $399, simply because I like well known name brand equipment. I am not a big fan of extended warranties unless the product cost is high... so I opted not to purchase the extended warranty.

the features are nice! the pc input is a plus and the fact that is has two HDMI inputs is a big bonus (IMO).

I would recommend this product at the sale price offered this week at $299.

I will update this review after a few weeks of use... stay tuned."
